17-11-2011 FIONA CAIRNS TALK THURSDAY 17th NOVEMBER 2011.....

On Thursday 17th of November Elizabeth Stanhope Interiors hosted an evening with Fiona Cairns. She took the audience through a ' potted history' of the last 25 years of the company and gave an insight into how she and her husband, Kishore, built up the business from the kitchen table to being in a position to create the wedding cake for the Duke and Dutchess of Cambridge.

The Fiona Cairns bakery now creates over one million handmade and hand finished cakes each year, selling to Waitrose, Harrods and Selfridges.

Renowned for her classic cakes with a contemporary twist Fiona Cairns has recently publised two books on cake making, sharing her tips on how to create the perfect cake for any occasion. Both books are available from the showroom.

Elizabeth Stanhope Interiors customers enjoyed drinks and canapes, beautifully served by the Macmillan cancer support team, in total we raised £1315.00 for the charity.
